Bacon & Eggs

My 70 year-old grandfather ate two eggs and bacon every morning of his life. After he had a heart attack they took away this joyful start to his days and he was stuck with dry toast, no butter. Sometimes I wish I could go back and tell him the truth.

Bacon and eggs were never the problem.

Simple foods that have been a staple in the American diet have been repeatedly vilified over the decades, and the great news for low-carb eaters is that in many cases they can once again eat these dishes with no guilt.
